SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mermaid's Secret

The lower mermaid is holding a shell thats glowing brightly under some design only they know of.... this is less defined than most of my stuff in order to create a bit of a murky effect to the water... like you can't quite see whats going on out there. Graphite pencil.

12 Jan 2005	Tom Waters	Loading... What?!? No comments yet?!?! This really does have an underwater feel to it, fluid and dim and a bit murky. Very atmospheric. The lighting effect is nicely achieved too! A very memorable drawing.
13 Jan 2005	Macy	Loading... Oh my gosh... i THOUGHT i could draw good (and every1 i kno says i can...) but after ive seen your drawings.... mine looks like childish scribbles... My sister is a great fan of mermaids and stuff and has several drawings of mine... one of which is on her wall. When i show her this i know she will love it GREAT job!
