SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragonwings

Mechanical pencils are the best in so many ways, especially shading. I have a PSP8 image of a dragon like this that I've put about 8 hours into already in the works, so it'll be coming up soon.

Oh my gosh, mechanical pencil for shading? On that?? THAT'S FRIGGIN AMAZING!!! I can't shade at all without a smudge stick, and regular pencils. You are a god *hails*
