SciFi and Fantasy Art: Gryfalcon

I've been doing a fair bit of work on my drawings during classes lately, leading to an increased number of pencil pieces... coloured pencils and markers are too conspicuous. :) Anyway, a gry'falcon banks into a turn.

Excellent! ^_^ What I really appreciate about your art is your knowledge and use of proper ANATOMY. A lot of people just draw a gryphon and slap the name "gryfalcon" on it just because it has big eyes. You actually did the wings right. 10 Long-distance high five! 12

Have you read the Mage Wars trilogy? The Gryfalcon came from there... well mabye not but that's where I found it! Anyhoo you did a fabulous job, especially on the feathers, I know how much of a pain they are and you did them really well. Congrats on a great pic

WOW!!!! ME LIKE!! Very good shading, and what an attack posture. Keep up the great work.

Wow!! That's a great picture! Every time I try to draw wings like that, they end up going off the page. Maybe I should start my gryphs a little LOWER on the page... By the way, is the back half of that gryphon a wolf or what?

Really cute! I love your gryphons.

It took me a while to not read "gyrfalcon" which is something else entirely. 2
