SciFi and Fantasy Art: Frilled Dragon

The sand dragons of Draitajern are large, ill-tempered beasts rather low on the intelligence scale...Quite primitive, really, with their lumbering walk and weak eyesight. Yet nothing else wants to intrude upon their barren habitat, and so they have persisted.

This is a very good pic regardless of what anyone says. The shading is excellent the pose is very life like and the depiction is outstanding. Keep up the incredible art work. You are one of the best artists i've run across in a long time.

I absolutely love the way you did the feet. I can never get the look I want with the tendons and muscles. But you did it perfectly!

Like Alex said, this is amazing. I love the way it looks like hes about to leap for prey or something. Not to mention the way I always kinda pictured living metal... I love the black'n'white. It's good. And don't pay half a lick of attention to people like phantom centeuress. Those people are idiots and don't know good art work if it bit them in the butt.

If this pic didn't get the moderator's choice stamp, nothing I do is ever going to get one.

this is great, I love the muscles and the tense effect, as if he could pounce any second and is coiled to spring!
