For some reason, I think her hands and feet should be, like, three times bigger. But if you did that, it'd look goofy. But heck, I'm goofy anyway. Nice job. ^_^

Dumb me. I forgot to tell you what i meant to in the first place, that its a really cool pic and i love the shading. The background's awesome too. Cute bubbles! I love her dress.
... And maybe some gill flaps where her ribs are. But you couldn't see that with the dress, could you? 12

personally, i like to add fins from the upper to middle of the lower arm, extending down about twice as long as the hands. and i make the webbing in the hands smaller, too. umm... sometimes i add big fins extending from the hip to mid-thigh. hope i helped!!! ;D p.s. ever played the Legend of Zelda games? i often use the zora as a base for my human/aquatic characters.

Zora is a good base ...Just get rid of the tail coming out of the back of their heads...And replace it w/ hair

This is lovely. I like the idea of a different type of mer-creature than the typical mermaid, lovely as they are. You've given a nice sense of her actually being in the depths of the ocean, and the pose is beautiful.
