| 11 Aug 1999 | Donna McCoy | I'm not by nature drawn to 'cute'... but the toe rings on her little feet are to die for! Beautiful fur as well, and captivating eyes. | |
| 11 Aug 1999 | Terry .A. Ernest | Nice line...go on add a bit of colour. | |
| 19 Nov 1999 | Jana | Aww.. I wish I could draw like that. She reminds me of an Ewok, though.. I don't know why. Maybe it's the combination of a teddy bear (or in your case, cat) and a dwarf. Oh, well. Gotta love those eyes! | |
| 28 Nov 1999 | Jenni Stenman | That does really look like a combination of an ewok and a cat. I would have probably snapped my pencil in two a couple of times with frustration before I finish drawing that fur. | |
| 3 Jun 2000 | Johanna Oakes | I saw this and the first thought to my mind was "Michael Whelan". I have a book of some of his work and remember seeing his drawings/paintings of the "fuzzies". I have not read the books but your rendition is great. Are the books any good? | |
| 24 Feb 2002 | Roger McMilian | Yes, Michael Whelan came to mind for me too. A very faithful rendition of the Gashta and had I been able to option the novel for a script, one that might have been further rendered on film. I was told that someone else had optioned it, but that has been over a year and still no rumors from tinseltown. Now, I'm off on another project, my first ful length novel, being written in parallel with a screenplay in case someone decides to try to option my story. | |
| 17 Dec 2002 | Anonymous | I found this site and there is some extremely good artwork on here. This picture is awesome. | |
| 12 Jul 2003 | Jade Griffin | Like yourself (I'm guessing) I also have my web finger in many fan pies Like the link to my homepage. I am very keen on the fuzzy novels and have considered actually writing my own. Need some more groundwork first but it's a vision I'll see through. Never fear I absolutely love your pic. Hope ya don't mind if I printed it out w/ your name on it. I did the same for Michael Whelan's fuzzy pics, too, as no bookstore I go to carries his work. Oh well... Thank you again for posting such an awesome pic! Did you do any more fuzzy works? -JG | |
| 10 Nov 2003 | Tom DiBell | Very nice. Michel Whelan has done several illustrations of Fuzzies, including the illustrations for "Adventures of Little Fuzzy" along with David Wenzel. This version of the book is a children's reader, but still fairly faithful to the series. The marvelous thing about Fuzzies is that they are so trusting and you have captured the trust, along with a little bit of "bad girl," in your sketch. Unfortunately, they (the Fuzzies) are never shown to be quite as sexual as you have depicted this one. Although the toe rings are quite cute! More Fuzzies Please??? | |
| 25 May 2004 | Elaine | Very nice. Perhaps it needs some colours, eh? | |
