Added two new pics that I painted during the summer. I finally took out a camera in the library and took pictures of them, as they are huge. My style has changed.

2/5/03 -- Harr! Anyone remember me? Well, I'm back, sort of, after a few months of shameless elfwood neglect. Two new paintings.

Also, you've probably noticed I stopped replying to comments. I still appreciate them very much and look at them, but unfortunately I don't have enough time to reply to each of them anymore. :(

Also, if anyone's interested, I set up an online store with some prints in it... Mebbe someone'll like to buy something... *cough* Anyway, miracles do happen.

And what was really funny for me - the scenes you chose are those I'm also trying to get on paper - but I hardly manage to get them as I imagine... (I just decided to upload one of my sketches of Luthien but I'm not sure if that was the right decision... ;-> I especially like your first version of Luthien and your Varda... but the picture "almost human" is also really great!!!

I love the way you use colors, but your second painting of Luthien facinates me, because of the dress she's wearing, and I can't quite figure out the sleeves and neckline would work. I love making dresses, and dancing, and it looks like the kind of dress an elf would wear when dancing. Also, it's strange how most artists are troubled in one way or another. Maybe only troubled minds turn to art, although anyone can learn the techniques. Anyway, may the Valar be with you!
