SciFi and Fantasy Art: Russian Fairy-tale Creatures

I've improved my watercolor! :) I thought this might be interesting for a change from elves and hoblins, you know. This is a collage of creatures/personages from Russian folk tales and fairy-tales. Hope you like it ;)

Hi, I am Bulgarian and as I suspect you know Russion and Bulagrian are very simple, plus I know quite a bit of Russion.
I just wanted to say that I admire you pictures - they are amazinng! So detailed - I like every one of them! I recongnise that sort of Russion fairy-tale thing - my granddad had lots of books like that in Russion.
Just saying - continue with the wonderful pictures 2

Hey great job! Just wondering where's the detail? Or the fine lines? You go talent but it would have looked a lot better and make a more profound impact on people if water colours were not used. You need to be careful about colours flowing into one another (but if that was what it was suppose to do then you did a horrible job)your an amateur and need to practice with water colours show us something else, thats not painted in water based paint

first of all - i really love the russian fairy-tales for their imagination and simply for the fact I grew up with them. and then the thing with watercolors the one above me mentioned - it's true you have to practice - but don't we all? I think this picture is great done, the colors are well chose and the detail you mastered with watercolors is just amazing!

I must say I really like them. Nice colors. I don't know anything about Russian fairytales at all......except I heard of "Baba-Yaga"......is that witch in the picture her?
