SciFi and Fantasy Art: Horse Skeleton

Once again my obssesion for detail took over. This skeleton is fairly accurate. The horse is rearing in case you didn't notice ;) Anyway, I'm very proud of it. I'm not sure what it dictates, perhaps one of those skeleton horses ridden in fantasia, perhaps someones long lost pet trying to find its way home...perhaps a new picture for my museum of arts. Either way, its pretty darn cool. To life my dearest beauty! To Life! I think this is what you call an undead? Dunno, I've talked to much as it is...

Have you ever thought of actually labeling the parts and bones, because you should. i think that would help a lot of us.

:-) Andrea 'Silver1' Bodel replies: "Yipes, i don't even know half of them...could be a challenge though, and I want to fix those knees anyway..."

VEry Very nice! Always a good project to work on! (I should do a few skeletal structures, they're great for anatomy....) Looks really neat. Make an undead unicorn. Pleeeeease?

U really need to label it, also, it seems out of proportion, but still a good attempt

Well im trying to find resources for my equine prodject and this came up , its incorrect and is missing quite a few bones what about the bones coming of the pelvis wich is the point of rump . There are also bones missing in the leg so i think u should state not to use it as an information source, even though it appears .
Thanks

wow, that's excellent! i love how you done it rearing, you don't often find rearing horse skeleton pictures, very unique. I like to draw loads of horses also, they're a good subject.

I think it is very good drawing for the out look of the skeleton. But not so much as in detales. But over all it is a very good drawing and helped me alot in my studies. Thank you
