SciFi and Fantasy Art: GloryYes, another equine emotion! For awhile every one has been telling me I 'really need to work on my anatomy'. So I dug through my Horse and Rider magazine looking for some ideas, and found these 2 cool barrel racing pictures, so i used them for reference, i couldn't get the chest muscles right so i just dropped them, though i had 'finished' them, i felt shading just wasn't right, because i didn't want it to look real, i wanted it to be a throw off, just the essence, not the realism. So I set it aside for a month, and lo and behold, i came up with a GREAT plan! I put a sun in the background, and painted it (my first real attempt at painting, so be nice!) <br> <br> here is the story, 2 unicorns shot out of the sun, one was the richest gold, and that was the Heart of the Sunrise, and one was deepest red, and that was Heart of the Sunset, ones mission was friendship and trust, the others love and peace, together they galloped towards earth, touching everyone who needed it with their gifts. | |

I like the idea of having it like a memory of reality, not reality itself. I don't know if that made sense or not, but that's the feeling I get from this picture, and I think it's really cool. | |
