SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Flower Fairy: Ivy

I owe this picture to Marcel who inspired me to draw even when I was in a slump and this picture came as the result! Thankyou so much Marcel. She is very different looking I know, and her skin isn't tattooed it's her skin's natural markings. She was a lot of fun to draw mostly because I love drawing curly Q's. I hope to do more drawings in this style because I hated always doing stand stills and she is an interesting addition to my sketch book. I hope you guys like her and please comment!

I love how she turned out, you're getting better at this all the time.[ME]:AWWWWW! Thankyou thankyou thankyou! I'm trying to improve with the little drawing I can get into my schedule. Being loaded with homework doesn't give me very much time to work on my style but I try...

Hullo!!! ^_________^ man, this is really good... 0.o her hair's so shiny and perdy... oooh... ahh.. anyway, man you've been improving since i've been here last!! This is very nice. Her motion is very smooth and flowy. ^_______^. Take care, keep up the perdy work, and have a nice day!! ^_^ [ME]:Thankyou for the comment on the hair!!! I spent the most time on that(well besides the wings) and I'm still not satisfied with it! I just never could figure out how to properly draw hair! Thankyou so much for saying that I've been improving! I try really hard to but like I said above, it's so hard to find time! I appreciate you commenting and thanx again!

Woo, another Art Nouveau-ish one! Love the wings, very nice pattern. Nice shiny hair too, though you might want to try and use a softer pencil to get darker and smoother shading. (Just a tip, hope you don't mind)[ME]11 don't mind AT ALL! Thankyou so much! I really appreciate it when people critique my art AND give tips *jumps up and down screaming "Any more tips?"* otherwise it doesn't get better. As far as her hair...honestly I hate the way I did it. I think it looks downright awful, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it. I just might have to take your advice and post a new version...Oh and as for the wings, I thought they were too wacky looking but they are growing on me...Thanx again!
