| 22 Feb 2006 | Featherfire | Looks like something from the mind of Mercedes Lacky. She wrote The Last Herald Mage. | |
| 22 Feb 2006 | Liisa Julin | No comments? Well, then I'm the first one to comment It's very lovely. The horse, the flow of her cloak... superb! | |
| 25 Feb 2006 | Candice S. 'Jaheira' Brown | A lovely picture. The horse is very well done. I like the background. | |
| 8 Apr 2006 | Wolf Sister | whaddya mean, with a lot of intelligence for a horse, horses ARE intelligent, btw i WANT THAT WEBSITE | |
| 18 Aug 2006 | Awestruck | wow! i love scenes like this, but i agree that whilst juradith is riding swiftly the horse is pausing to look at something curios. i love the flow of her cloak though - the shading you've done is very effective. I WANT THAT HORSE!!! by the way, if the horse is turning juradith's body should be facing us slightly, and her left knee should be slightly just a teeny bit further back. OTHERWISE ITS GREAT!!!!!! *horses are intelligent, take it from one who knows. anyhoo, its great. *i also love your cernunnous.* | |

I disagree. It looks like there is a wind blowing through the field - see how the grasses are bowed also? Although perhaps not quite to the degree that one would expect when the wind has enough strength to lift a piece of cloth. I think the expression on Juradith's face conveys concentration, or perhaps preoccupation with some thought. Beautiful. The way she leans forward, holding the reins seem to me to indicate only that she wants to get where she is going. She "feels" determined. I think this is one of the best pieces I've seen in Elfwood so far, and exemplary even for one so skilled. | |
| 26 Oct 2007 | Heidi Hecht | Awesome! It reminds me of the white Companions from the Mercedes Lackey novels. | |
| 23 Jan 2008 | Joelle Duran | Beautiful work! I love all the sparkles on her cloak, the little detail of the seed-heads in the grass, and how gloomy and dramatic the sky is. | |
