I really love your pencil work!! The facial features are truly your own and the eyes you draw...magnificant. Now, about your coloring. For effects (i.e. the fire on your profile pic kind of stuff) your coloring abilities work really well. Using the digital coloring for your figures and details...needs work. Because your pencil work is SO strong, try keeping it in the piece. If you're using photoshop place the pencil as a layer then create a new one and place it in "multiply" mode and use that layer for color (keep this layer on top). It will take some adjusting to but i think it would make your work stronger. ^_^

I really dig your pencil works and the mischevious eyes of your characters Your drawing is precise and detailed and elegant and.... ok I'll play my "pain in the BEEP" part (You asked for it, your fault your fault) : How dare you smudging colours on those drawings ! baaaad baaad andrew you're losing all the sharp details to a blotchy smudgyness.. Forget the smudge tool for a while. go to textured brushes set on very low opacity and build the colours up. work on BIG files in order to keep details but not turning them into real pain to do... baaaad smudge tool (and bad lense flare as well but that's just a personnal opinion ) Good light on "My sympathies.. " btw
