SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lizardman

The version of lizardman. There are many versions of this creature from Might&Magic to AD&D. This one is my own, with a hammer(as you can see)

Hmm the head looks lizardy enuf, the body is more froggish, most notably the lack of a tail...whatever he is he's pretty sweet. Could you do a baby kobold? PLEEZE?? Kobolds are dayam awesome. Well great artwork.TAIL! My god... I never noticed that he lacks of his tail... man, thanx! I believe is not too late to correct this horrible mistake. (Tail! what did I look at all this time?) Kobold? OoooKeeyy... but.. what is "Kobold"? Would you describe it to me and I'm starting a kid 2

I love this critter just as he is- but another possability to make him look less "froggish" would be to reduce the webbing on his feet and give him some sort of claws- frogs toes are very smooth and blunt like his are now - but no frog has true claws 2-- Great creature 2--LauraBrilliant! I must admit, I've missed this too. I guess it's time for real lizardman now 2 Thank you, Laura! 2

A kobold I think is a half-dog half human creature; it has the head and tail of a dog and the legs, and the body is human though furry. They're pretty cool ... I'm an avid Might&Magic fan myself; have a M&M 6 Goblin sketch in queue for upload ATM 2

:-) Andrey F. Halileysky replies: "Cool! Yet, Kobold is should be very werewolf-like! How one could ever tell one from another? Thanks, Diana! It's a pleasure to meet a real M&M fan around! 2"

Actually, Werewolves are a mix of wolf and human, while Kobolds are like the average household dog. I have a perfect link showing a pair of them from one of my favorite artists, to help those who don't quite understand Kobolds 2

Actually, kobolds are more like small lizard people than dogs, according to 3E D&D, which is what I picture them to be, go to [ www.d20reviews.com/Pozas/ Pictures/FDP/kobold.jpg ] for a general idea on what they look like.

Of course the appearence of kobolds varies depending on who you talk to, I've seen lizards, dogs, rats, gnome-like things, and stranger versions of kobolds.

:-) Andrey F. Halileysky replies: "Thanx again, man! 2)) Now I'm a bit closer to Kobolds 12 Thanx for the link!"
