SciFi and Fantasy Art: Unfinished Dragon

This is just a simple picture of a dragon I haven't got around to finish yet. If you have any ideas on how I can improve it, or what I could do with the background, please write up some comments.

how about a pile of shiny tempting gold coins and jewels in the background? (and some bones of unfortunate heroes...along with melted equipment...hehe)

looks like a cartoon character for an animation studio! Hmm, the only thing that i could say to redo the color, the scanner seems to have taken a lot out of it and lost some of the detail. As for a background, im the wrong guy to ask as I never use em! Anyhoo, KUTGW!

I like it man, the colors suggest fire. It would be even cooler if you'd just FINISH IT. With the background, you could make it kinda funny and add like food and stuff (cuz his belly's kinda big) 19)

hrm..make the title "Gertrude the dragon" first off...then give it a volcanic backround...have a little poff of smoke coming out of his nose, like he just fried someone...and have silloettes (sp?) of other dragons up in the sky flying. *me and my wild imagination* please ignore my human alt ego (whatever that means) she tends to lose the real world in her fantasy stuck mind =^_^= *sigh*.....*me, the one the cat is speaking of, blinks* HEY!

I really like this picture, and I'm sure it'll look even cooler when it's finished 2 If you want to make your dragon look more ferocious, my advice is to draw his claws in a little more, so they're more pronounced, and maybe you could also add some spikes on the tail.
