| 6 Apr 2001 | Shann | lovely smooth shading, and exellent hair highlights. Also, wonderful emotion and life. | |
| 22 May 2001 | Max MaxBert Bertuzzi | Overall a good picture. Discrete shading and good proportions. A little static in the pose, it could be more natural. I enjoy it. | |
| 23 Jun 2001 | half a goat | Your technique is perfect, but I'm not sure she knows how to use that poker as well as her eyes say. Her stance is too uptight. She needs to limber up. Cristina Angeles Ubay (Amberwing) replies: "Well. She isn't fighting. As I titled it, she's dancing. " | |
| 6 Apr 2003 | Funny artist | This picture is amazing makes me wanna slap my mamaHuh? Your mother? You've lost me. | |
| 6 Jul 2004 | Madd hatter | I think it's a great picture but you need a little more flow in the hair it looks a little funky all clumped like that | |
| 1 Jun 2005 | Fairy Artist | she's DANCING?!? Well, you got me there. try naming it, "The Stare" or something . I dunno, whatever YOU think is best. | |
| 5 Jan 2006 | Inuyasha obssessed | I like it its eccellent but you cant tell where the sleeves end | |
| 18 Jan 2006 | Peder Magnus Palmstierna | Of course she is dancing! And dancing and fighting has a lot more in common than some seem to believe. Trust me, I dance a lot (Lindy-hop, Tango and more) as well as practice budo (mainly aikido). I take it this is some kind of ritual dance? As for what might be fixed in the picture, I have two suggestions. 1)There seems to be a piece of her tunic missing just underneath her belt flaps, I think there should be some cloth hanging down from the belt, there's only a white space there. 2) Her right hand seems aligned to hold the shaft at an angle which is parallel to the plane of the picture, while her left hand seems to hold the shaft at an angle which goes slightly into the picture, away from the viewer. It creates a feeling that the shaft is bent. I suggest that you change her right hand so that the back of it doesn't point straight out of the picture, but at an angle to match her left hand. Regardless of those details, I like the picture, it has a lot of feeling and she seems very focused in her dance. Keep it up! | |
| 14 Sep 2006 | Anonymous | I think I might know some of what is wrong with the picture. Her upper body is to large for at least her lower body, and maybe her head also. Her arms are way to long, going almost to her knees. I read the story, and loved it, thank you for drawing some pictures of her. | |
