SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mirkwood

I'm thinking maybe along the Forest River. Man, do I wish I was a wood-elf.... :)

Coloured pencil, in case anyone was wondering. Another, like the Fairy Fountain, that I just drew without sketching in pencil first. Got lucky, I guess!

21 Aug 2002	Josh	Loading... There's a place like this where i live, its a big ravine, looks exactly like this at one point. Breathtaking. If you ever get a chance go to Surrey and along 16th go to the Centennial ravine. A beautiful place, u've captured it in all its beauty.
22 Aug 2002	Nathan Neil Phillips	Loading... This is incredible. The shadows, highlights and colors give this incredible realism. I have seen a place like this many times at a park in the upper peninsula of Michigan. From the thumbnail I thought it was an edited photograph!

Trust me on this i am a big fan on J.R.R Tolkien a big fan I tell ya, you just gotta love this pic it is so good, if you did this media in color pencil your just fantastic, I was thinking about doing a pic in color pencil but insted I did it in water color, if you stop by my gallery on my side of it you will see a pic i did, it will be at elf-wood on saturday or friday, but i love your art work.
