SciFi and Fantasy Art: The winged horse

This is inspired by a song of my favourite band Gamma Ray. It called...surprise, surprise!...'The Winged Horse' and tells a story aubout the escape of a young man with the help of a horse and their fight against an evil magician. i love it, so i drew it.

Hey, i love the shading in your pictures, and the theme for this one is great, but the horse needs to have a bigger head, and the back legs need to be less square

I like the horizon, how everything curves towards it. Well, not curves, but I'm not sure how to describe it. Although, one thing leaves me confused. There seems to be a sun and a moon, but perhaps one is something other than that, maybe another celestial body? I like the indefinite shape of the larger one and how it's almost blurry.

:-) Anika Beer replies: "Well, in fact, the sun is not a sun... the lyrics say: "The cloud's passing by, a hole breaks the sky, light refrect the dark and fills the place..." the light one is meant to be this hole, i just did not know how to draw it... ^^"

Everything is fabulous but one thing that cought my attention is the horses wing, it looks like its missing all the bones, you should work a little bit on that. Just an advice .Apart from that, well done you! 2
