SciFi and Fantasy Art: Briar Rose

I keep doing these Mucha-esque pieces. The organic, linear aspects are soothing and theraputic to me. I do thise only for my own enjoyment, but it's amusing to me to watch how my style has progressed over the years.

Anyway, I started this in October 2006, and finally finished in November 2007. It is my first piece of artwork started and completed here in my new hometown of New Orleans. As if you couldn't tell, what with the central image of the vampire and the fleurde lis framework.
