| 19 Aug 2003 | Navah Rosensweig | Wow. Um, wow. This is impressive, Jae. Seriously. The shading, the realism - wow. Her face is very near perfect, and the skin-tone, all of it. My only critique (and I may be totally off on this one, I'm no art person) is that something seems off a bit with her shoulder. It looks a little too big, or maybe the angle at which she looks over it is funny - I'm not sure. It's not awful, and it could just be my eyes.
All in all, this piece is amazing. | |
| 31 Oct 2003 | just me | What does the title have to do with the picture Lisa Ann (Jae) Andresen replies: "The title is referring to the surprised look upon her half-turned face, and her hand, still reaching for some as-yet undrawn object, as if the'd been "caught" reaching for something she shouldn't be. Restricted tomes of ancient spells, or something " | |

| 22 Dec 2003 | Kassandra 'Lady Fireborn' Siegel | Y'know, I really, really wish you would finish this. I think there might be a problem with the line of her shoulder--but I also think that if the background were done, it would be a lot less noticable. And her face, and the expression on it, is hands-down one of the very best you've ever done. | |
