SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragonfire

Could also be called 'Dragon's Behaving Badly'. Painted when my boyfriend complained that I always depict my dragons doing 'cute' things, so I whipped this up in about a half hour when I was still very new at watercolors and expirimenting like crazy, just to show him. The moon was his idea, too, but I think it looks a little bit more like a smoke-obscurred sun. (Summer 2001)
