I haven’t updated my Elfwood page in what seems like a million years. Actually, that’s only half-true. I only haven’t updated here in a little over two. Which, in internet terms, might as well be half a million years. But I digress. A lot has changed in two years.

I now live in New Orleans, Louisiana. I was not here for Hurricane Katrina, but I do my best to be as active a part of the rebuilding process as possible. I’m still making art, but I don’t do traditional pen-and-paper work as much as I used to. Nowadays I make fairy wings and jewelry, much of which is sold in shops in the French Quarter. I’m also branching out into photography of the decidedly non-fantasy variety (landscapes, portraits, etc). So updates to the actual content of my gallery will be few and far between from here on out.

I still love getting feedback, constructive criticism, helpful hints and insight into my technique, such as it is (or was 5 years ago, as the case might be). As always, rude comments will be either deleted or snippily responded to, depending on my mood. I make no apologies.
I just wanted to peek in and hug you. I still just love thee dragons, wahoo for dragons. You must start updating the page, and us, more often. quish and run:
Cute pictures! I really like many of them. By the way, your name sounds very scandinavian... I just noticed Lisa Ann (Jae) Andresen replies: "Well, I'm third-generation American, but my great-grandparents came from Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Ireland. So you were half right "
Hey Lisa, I love all your work.. I think Ive been to your gallery before, but I cant remember. Your drawings are very "Art Nouveau" like.. and I think they are just stunning! Keep it up girl and i cant wait to see more! Lots of love ~Sarah~
Glad to see they finally approved that one piece of yours! Very good stuff here. I’m hoping to get some of my work up on my site next year. But until then, I’ll enjoy looking at yours on-line. Keep it up, your work really has improved a lot!
I really like you Art Nouveau pics... I think you have done the borders on them very well. I also like the couple of pics that you have in silhouette. You can really se a progression in you art.
Congratulations on Mods Choice. I think you deserve it.
I stumbled over here after being unable to leave a comment on your live journal post. I must say you draw people in by being interesting and talented.
My comment on your LJ was to be: "Si je ne suis pas en la grace de Dieu, Dieu veuille m'y recevoir! et, si j'y suis, Dieu veuille m'y garder."....Jehanne la Pucelle
