SciFi and Fantasy Art: Protector of the Seas

I'm not sure if I'll ever color this or not (but I'll probably re-scan it later to fix the cut-off point at the bottom)

The dolphin bothers me. But I didn't have any pictures of a dolphin to work from when I drew this, so I guess it's not bad for someone who doesn't regulalry draw dolphins.

On the whole, I really like this.

19 Aug 2003	Vanessaann	Loading... Oooh, JaeJae! I loooooove this. Of course, I always love your mermaids. You did an excellent job on the dolphin, especially for not drawing dolphins regularly. One thing I would say might be a little off is that the dolphin's eye looks a little sinister. Anywho, yay! Jae art! Take care! Lisa Ann (Jae) Andresen replies: "i know what you mean. I still haven't actually inked the dolphin's eye or mouth... I'm waiting til I get some good reference pictures, so I can make the face look more resene. Then again, maybe "sinister" isn't such a bad look for the Protector of the Seas"

I think i want to get a little better before I go submitting my heart out."
