| 18 Aug 2004 | Kassandra 'Kass Fireborn' Siegel | One of the things I love most about this image is the *simplicity* of it, the way you've not only got these nice, clean lines, but you have just enough down there to do the job you want it to do. There are just enough lines in the coat to make you fully get the nature of the coat. There's just enough there to her face to make it a distinctive person, and no more. There's just enough detail to the box to give it *character*. And there's just enough about the drawing to give you a fair idea of what it is even if you didn't know, with the framework, the general composition, the pillars, the whole feel of the piece, and those fabulous bats. Great job. | |

| 12 Jan 2006 | Huskyfrompluto | Reminds me much of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," if you know what I mean. Can I give a bit of constructive criticism if I may? I noticed that the strap for the box only comes up about half-way to the girl/woman's left shoulder, so that, if this were a true-to-life drawing, the strap for the box seems to be supported by the girl's elbow? Just some food for thought. | |
