| 13 Feb 2004 | Sarah Rose Foltz | This is gorgeous! You've done a fantastic job depicting one of my favorite scenes from LOTR. Your illustrations are usually pretty close to how I imagine things, and this is no exception.Thank you. | |
| 14 Feb 2004 | Maria C. Stromberg | Just beautiful. I love her cloak. I think you get better every time you paint Faramir and Eowyn...So I can only look forward to the next one!Which will come shortly | |
| 14 Feb 2004 | Charlie K | I love this painting! The colour seems so bright and pure in this one. The architecture is great as well and the detail you've put into their clothes is wonderful. Thanks a lot. | |
| 17 Feb 2004 | E. 'Erroneous' Szydloski | Ah, beautiful. The only quarrel I have is that Eowyn looks like she's gone and nodded off. Beautiful picture, though. It's the sunshine, you know | |
| 18 Feb 2004 | Feanor | As to quote from Bruce Almighty: B-E-A-UTIFUL! A wonderful picture, I can actually feel the wind blowing. Your work is wonderful, and I really love this picture! Thanks a lot. | |
| 20 Feb 2004 | Tamira | Aaaaah! I should check your pictures more frequent. I've been waiting so long for your picture of this scene, and now it's here, I see it only today. Anyway, it's BEAUTIFUL. Gorgeous. Or, as my host-mum would say, terrific Faramir's ear looks a bit weird to me, though. Suppose it's just me. Never mind. I like Eowyn's coat (I already liked in "Eowyn and Faramir"), it looks exactly as I imagined it ^-^ (I can't spell Eowyn correctly *sob* stupid Kiwi keyboard)No accents on the keyboard, eh? Yeah, I had the same problem in the UK. | |
| 22 Mar 2004 | Lystrom <jonathan@muf...se> | I haven't been here in a long time and now when I am back, I find that you have drawn another painting of this favourite scene of mine! I like the look in Faramir's eyes and Éowyn's sad face. I love the way you have drawn how the wind bends the trees and bushes in the background, and how it plays with the couple's hair, "raven and golden". When you see this painting, you feel that things are going exactly as they were meant to. Faramir and Éowyn were truly meant for each other and they make the most wonderful couple.
I adore your drawings, Anke. I need to pop in here more often in case you decide to draw some more!An update is on the way. | |
| 1 Feb 2005 | Rochelle Leya Watts | Your pictures all have exquisite details. But the thing I like best about this one is the background. The way the trees look ruffled by the wind is an effect that I am sure is not easy. Of course, her hair is neat too, but mainly I like the trees. | |
