SciFi and Fantasy Art: Burn Baby Burn

*excuse the title XD*

Firewing named Yvain... Yay, he has a name!
The reason he is standing in a huge forge is that he is being bunished.
He is a firespirit, send to the world to guide people and control wizards who's element is fire. He used his power wrong, by trying to wake the vampire Shaya's heart to life. To bunish him the other spirits are taking away his wings... which is happening here, the wings are burning away. He himself will not burn, as his element is fire.

I was asked to draw a picture of firewing... but with colouring pencils... sorry this is not coloured, but will be when I have the time to colour it.

The expression is done very well, although it doesnt look like it hurts (i dont suppose it does since he's fire) he looks more like "well crap, this sucks" as always, shading and overall composition is wonderful.
