SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Blue Djinn

From 1965 until 1970, there ran a cute little television show called 'I Dream of Jeannie.' Now, when I was eleven or twelve, I developed a fascination with the show (reruns... gotta love em) and I'm relatively certain that I've seen every episode. The woman who played Jeannie, that wacky little chick in a bottle, was Barbara Eden. Barb was married to a man named Michael Ansara, who guest starred on the show a few times. On one of these appearances, he played a character named The Blue Djinn. And what does this story have to do with anything? Well, I've always rather liked the name 'The Blue Djinn' and I always thought that I could have made a much more compelling character, given the oppertunity to use that name. So, I did. Make a new character using the name, that is. He doesn't look like Michael Ansara but I'm rather proud of him. (Actually, to be honest, I used my own face as a basis for the picture. So it sorta looks like me, but not really. The problem is that I just don't have enough people to model for me.)

Oo, fantastic!! It is so mystical and sad, that you could keep staring at her for ever.. Wonderful!

:-) Anna L. Cierocki replies: "Actually, just for clarification, the Djinn is a man. I based the picture on my own face, but the character is just a very pretty fella. *smiles*"
