SciFi and Fantasy Art: Psi Warrior, colored

The background is supposed to be foggy and full of stars... I hope I did an OK job. Does she still look Psi-ish? I really liked her stomach, didn't care for her legs/feet or head too much... if you'll look close, I tried to hide/alter the bad spots >_< Be nice!

She seems melancholy, though perhaps resigned to that emotion; yet, she still seems so determined and perseverent. I really think you achieved the fog perfectly in this, as well as her pose. I like the detail you put into her outfit and hair. Plus, she's got a sweet tattoo. 19)

Again with the asskicking art. 2 I really like this piece... Nice mood you've created here. Only one thing: you might think about putting a dull shine on the staff... you totally lose it in the picture, and it's definitely an important part of it.

:-) Jeni (Aerilyn-Tababity) Annalyse replies: "*hides under a pillow* Well, I tried, but it kept picking up the wrong stuff... and it all just made it look worse. After 4 or 5 days of coloring this thing, I just wanted to be finished... there's even a tiny bit that ISN'T finished, and every time I look at it I cringe..."

:-) Jeni (Aerilyn-Tababity) Annalyse replies: "Hehe! Adobe photoshop elements, babeh. 3 layers to this, details with burn/dodge and eraser. Yay 1"

Awesome! I mean it, a very good job indeed. She looks so mysterious and dark..I bet she has a nice story too?

:-) Jeni (Aerilyn-Tababity) Annalyse replies: "Only somewhat. She was originally drawn on the car ride up to Coal City--- family party, about 2 hours away. It took me the entire car ride to get her right, and also some time during the party too. My family kept looking over my shoulder though... >_"
