SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ambush at Caernavon

I like the color palette on this one, too (heh). Mixed media on watercolor paper.

"Hello? Hello? I can't hear you, you're going to have to speak up!"

Just kidding. I think it's great.

Wow, You've quite the talents Anneth! I especially like this one. (though I haven't looked closely at the others yet) I love the sword, the stance, the beard, the face. Amazing!!!

nice picture. Everyone is positive, so I will give a little crit. I think the left arm looks strange. It doesn't look natural eventhough he is wearing baggy clothes. The arm looks too crunched up or that it originates from a point (the shoulder) farther out than it should.

It looks like he's leaning on a spear, but there's no shaft.

God, this is impressive. Watercolor is absolutely my favorite medium. Yours are so light and vibrant!

Caernavon... like the Welsh Caernarfon? Is this perchance an actual historical event? I'd love to find out! Great picture; I love the atmosphere. Wonderful!

Oh wow, great design, great pose, awesome movement, and beautifull color pallette... and yea arm loks weird... mostly just looks like the right elbow's too low... its why it makes him look like he's leaning instead of swinging...

but damn this is good...
