SciFi and Fantasy Art: Scorpio Nights

Scorpio Nights is my first acrylic on canvass. I painted it for my husband who is a Scorpio. It is based on our teenage bonfire nights in the desert. The funny thing is everyone I grew up with seems to know exactly where this place is and get a sudden craving for keg beer. It was actually a montage of a lot of different places. Look for all the scorpions!

I'm a scorpio, but that's not why I love this picture. It's just really cool. I love the rocks, and the trees, and the fire, but the sky really is my favorite.
