SciFi and Fantasy Art: Imagination

Dragons and drakes exist. They're just invisible to your mind... :) The only reason I was able to capture this one was because I caught it taking a moonlight swim and it was still wet. Unfortunately, it promptly took off in a rain of glistening drops of moonlight water. (That was the 'romantic' explanation. Here's another one: I created the beach picture a long time ago. I needed something to go with it. So I merged the beach with a somewhat photoshopped version of the Sprinting Drake. Have mercy... 'cause I like it this way.)

Wuh, this one is awesome... I have a passion for dragons and this picture looks kind of weird, but still awesome =) Maybe you should add some fog, I guess that would be a cool effect 12

I like the painting on the whole. But I find the dragon drawing looks very artificial and almost last minutey.
Otherwise love your stuff.
Cheers

Thank you, Claire! Though strangely, the dragon was the first thing I made. Maybe I should have made it more.. smooth and made it look less pencily?

I really like how you did the transparancy in relation to the background here...

Poor dragon.
If he takes a bath you can tell where he is by the wet form. Yet, if he doesn't take a bath you can still tell where he is by the smell.
What a concept. lol.
Keep up the good work.

The first thing that came to mind was that he looks like a ghost. But maybe you wanted him that way. Anyhow, GREAT JOB!!

Beautiful.
Dragons area all around you. You just have to find them 10

Ah, look at that, here it is, kind of in color.
Setting looks very good?
How about doing yet another version with the dragon in full color?
That could be a killer-piece 2

The sky looks separated into two sections, i think it would look better if they were blended in together unless you want to create a certain effect.what effect were you looking for?
its a great picture don't get me wrong!

:-) Anne-Marie C. Eriksson replies: "*squinting at picture* Separated into two sections? Hmm, I can't quite see it, but I think I've seen this picture for too long. What was I after? I'm not entirely sure... it's been too long. Any chance you can come back and tell me what you mean? eheh"

I think this is my favorite! the dragon is truly beautiful and I love the description! *grins* (and I can't see the section thing in the sky either...)
