| 25 May 2003 | Jason peters | wow I love this piece. It has great symetry and good colors.I think this would make a great poster.I also like opposites and the contrast here is very eye catching.Great Job Aphrodite Ioannou replies: "Thank you Jason! Ive got a thing with contrasts =)" | |
| 4 Jun 2003 | Raven Darknight | Very cool. I like the Two Worlds theme. You'd be better off making radical pictures instead of real-lifes themes. Yet again...very cool. Aphrodite Ioannou replies: "Yes, I myself enjoy looking at this pic. It reminds me of the contrast in my daily life. Its a symbolic drawing *S*" | |
| 21 Jun 2003 | John R. Toohey | very dream-like, subtle, yet highly symbolic/duallistic... One of the Artist's greatest tools(and coolest words) is the juxtaposition of ideas, forms, colors, contrasts and emotions. Often it creates a dynamic context for the viewer's mind to become stimulated or "open" to the artist's message, or the artist's feelings. See? see? see? Is your third eye blazing? Engorged? invertedly insane???
Oh Yeah...Juxtaposition: the act or an instance of placing two or more things side by side; also : the state of being so placed
hehehhehehhe keep posting, C ya! | |
| 27 Jun 2003 | Rachel E. Johnstone | I like this very much - the contrast between the two worlds, one firey, one watery (?). I see opposites must be a favourite theme of yours. I agree this would myke a super poster - and it would work which ever way up you hang it. Great job. Aphrodite Ioannou replies: "Thank you!" | |
