| 4 Feb 2003 | Brandi Carter | I love the detail put into this work, it's really amazing. I can't wait to see it finished, it's excellent.. I think, though, the only thing I can see about the image that makes it funny for me is that his lips are very pronounced, almost too much so for a man, and for a Drow.
His arm, holding the sword, looks a bit long, and his hand seems a bit odd. I have trouble with hands and proportioning, so I'm not one to talk, but otherwise it's absolutely wonderful. The sword looks great, not too ornate or overbearing to be useful.
| 25 Feb 2003 | Han | Finish it! Please! It's really impressive! It'd be perfect if only it were DONE! | |
| 14 Mar 2003 | iced over elf | OMG...... that is killer sweet evin if its not done | |
| 3 Jul 2003 | DarkVampire <cyrguillaume@hot...com | Most excellent work my dear friend...but the other seemed wrong to me..dark-elves and drows are one and unique race...no ? 'Nyhow,I sat scre-p the rules for once,and we have the most beautiful pic of a drow-paladin ever made,t'would even be nicer if you finish it. Still very great-job,keep on the good-work. | |
| 4 Oct 2003 | MaDaTgRaViTy | Great work!!! About the earlier comment, dark elves and drow are the same thing. They are just elves that evolved to living under ground, they have dark skin, but are not always evil. You must be with the light to be a paladin, eh? What is Drizt? He is with the light. This is a perfectly reasonable character. | |
| 3 Dec 2003 | C#M | Holy freakin'...hang on, hang on, no swearing allowed here. Darn. ^_^ That picture...that armour...*faints*
<ten minutes pass>
*wakes up* Hmm...*gets another eyeload of that armour* Whoa, the detail! I just don't get how you guys do it. How long did that take you?!? A lot longer than my hyperactive mind can take, I bet. Huh? Oh, yeah - FINISH THAT PICTURE!!! Not that it doesn't rock now, but...JUST FINISH IT! The lips are a bit big, I think you should change it since I don't think even women have them that big...unless maybe they're Callista Flockhart lol...okay I should stop bashing celebrities now...but hey. It's not like anyone'll actually be looking at his face *stares at that sword...drool*
| 2 May 2005 | From one artist to another | You have a great talent! it looks as though he could just hop off the page. The armer is very original and cool. | |
| 2 Nov 2005 | Guy From Wisconsin | Hmmm, is it me or do i see jeans? Please dont change the lips! They are fine! This elf doesnt look so evil to me...only a truely evil man can draw a truely evil drawing. FINISH THE ******* PICTURE! I cant say i like the character but i really really really DIG his Sword. | |
| 18 Jan 2006 | Eric | Excellent Picture!! Very well done!! I had a character once who was a Drow that escaped the Drow Society at a early age(12yrs old) and was raised by humans(12-18yrs old) that became a Paladin. Later on he married another escaped Drow(girlfriend's character) and we quit playing D&D for a few years because of school, work and stuff. But I think that its possible to have Drow become whatever you want them to be, as my GM says "As long as you have a good backstory, then anything is possible" But that doesnt work for saying you always had +4 long-swords, Elven Chain-mail, etc..hehehe..and if that works, it always seems to be stolen by some evil NPCs. | |
| 10 Jan 2008 | Karen Stevens | Love this picture. The armour and prosthetic arm make him look very 'cyber-fantasy', which is rapidly becoming my favourite genre! | |
