SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon

I got bored one night, and just scribbled him into my sketchbook....not too shabby for a 10 minute drawing. Here's the colored version.

in 10 minutes I'd be still trying to figure out how to draw the damn thing!I wasn't even thinking about it when I drew it actually. *grins sheepishly* Actually, I spent all my time talking with my friend while I mindlessly scribbled to see what would come out. I paid so little attention to it, that even I was surprised as to how it turned out.

Hello Shawna!! First of all, this drawing rules, especially considering you did it in such a short time ^-^ I adore dragon pics, and one thing I really like about this one is the nose - very shapely and beautiful!! I notice you are also very good at shading 2 Make more!

:-) Shawna ´Angel´ McKim replies: "Thanks. You know, with college and all, it really helps if I can do my work quickly (that way I can get back to school and all). And believe me, I intend to make plenty more...as soon as I get more time...*sighs*"

Sorry, my english is very bad, but i want to say that this picture is beautiful, and very real. I looking for beautiful pictures (like that) to ilustrate my own dragon's story, in spanish.
Congratulations.
Benja.

:-) Shawna ´Angel´ McKim replies: "Your English is fine Benjamin. If I can understand it, that's good enough for me. Thanks so much for the compliment. They (comments) really make my day someimtes."

Fiesty... beautiful dragon, grat coloring. The only thing I might say is to change the yellow color of his belley. Maybe an orange? Something a little darker. And, a pupil maybe? Your choice... fun, fun, fun.

:-) Shawna ´Angel´ McKim replies: "The underbelly I agree with...quick sketch, quick color. I didn't really put too much thought into the whole picture. However, I didn't want to put a pupil in. I wanted him to have sort of a cold stare that was fiendish yet enchanting at the same moment."

I just love dragons. This one looks vicious (or however you spell it). Particulary the eye have a very beautiful shining.

WOW!!! I like this drawing very very much because i sorta have a obsession with dragons and i loved the coloring and the shadeing. I also loved the way you did the nose especally for only 10 mins. This was on of the best ones that I have seen in a long time.
