| 23 Aug 2001 | William E. Robinson | Hehehehe...I love this painting...mine didnt come out quite like yours though, lol. That was a fun class we should go again. Anyway, I really like the wings a lot. I put up some angel stuff in my gallery too, thats funny. Good job blending digital with oils without making it look cheesy. | |
| 25 Aug 2001 | Dev zaborav | Oh, -very- nice work. I love the way the light falls, and the wings are beautiful -- I do agree with William; it's rare to see someone be able to blend paint and digital without the difference being obvious. I'm very impressed. Pity we can't see his face, though... | |
| 14 Oct 2001 | Natalia *nati* Pierandrei | Ooohh, woahhh, this is too wonderful! Great, great illustration, Ashley! | |
| 25 Oct 2001 | Terry .A. Ernest | I like this, it has a strong impressionist feel to it Ashley,.. very well done | |
| 22 Jan 2002 | Liu Yiqing | Heh, heh. I've returned for a look-see - and look at what I've overlooked. *grin* In all honesty, that brilliantly-defined anatomy on this particular Yummy is too perfect to be true. ^^ Nevertheless, yummy and brilliantly-defined it remains, and I love the contrasts of light, darkness and the blue shadows about his pecs. On a side-note, I agree that this probably looks more more 'artistic', for want of a better word, that it would have if you had posted the entirety of what you painted.. Very nice job. ^^ | |
| 15 Jun 2002 | Call me what you will... | this is a beautiful painting, I wish I could paint...oh well...a happy trail...that isn't something you (or at least I) don't see much on this sight... | |
| 19 Feb 2003 | Fabienne Meiers | Oh, it's so wonderful! Can't turn my eyes from it. Sighing very loudly. It's just perfect; this guy (angel?)is so cute with his reddish hair, even though you can't see his face. Really a masterpiece!!! | |
| 11 Oct 2003 | Charlie Camp | The skillful use of color and observation in this piece blow my mind. The movement and balance created by the highlights also give it a professional look. I'll be sure to bookmark this page. Keep up the good work! | |
