SciFi and Fantasy Art: Delmari

I've always been interested in mythology, and for a while I was making up my own as a basis for a story. This was my version of a moon goddess -- her name is Delmari and she was pursued by two men, yet chose her freedom above them both. The original drawing was done in pen & ink, and then I used Photoshop to add the moon, stars, and colors.

In Wicca, they have one Goddess, which is represented by the moon, and the god witch is represented by the sun. And this pic is very much like the Godess the way I see her. I love this picture.

Your moon goddess lacks colors. I believe she needs some acne in the chin (Symbolic reference: craters) hehehe

I love this piece. It has a 70's feel to it almost, but with the computer enhancement it has wonderful depth!
