I think the scales are good, they made me think she's got at snakes tail instead of legs. Lovely pic, your pictures made me inspired to go pick up my own pastels, it's been to long since I used them.... Keep up the good work! | |
| 18 Dec 2005 | A. P. Reckert | This is beautiful, a really unique interpretation of the Naga myth. I love the effect of her skirt becoming scales. This is also one of the few naga pictures in the woods that actually features a woman of Indian decent, as par with the original myths. Great job, this is a really beautiful piece. | |
| 20 Dec 2005 | Anonymous | This is beautiful. Her pose is sensual and snakelike without being obvious, and her eyes are absolutely incredible. They almost seem to glow. The details - her earrings, her nose ring and the subtle scales on her skirt really make this pic something special. And, like A.P said, it is certainly refreshing to see a Naga that fits with authentic mythology. | |
