SciFi and Fantasy Art: Praetorian

I replaced an earlier black-and-white pic with this one, now in full color. It's from an online roleplaying game, that mixes 'angelic' beings with a sort of Greco-Roman culture, and this is one of their warriors, posing pretty for the camera in all her armor. This was first done in pencil and pen & ink, and later colored in Photoshop. Took forever, too, but hopefully it was worth it.

3 Sep 2004	Leigh 'Katt' Berggren	Loading... This is stunning. The detail... wow! If you ever feel like playing with is in Photoshop again, you might go back and add some shine to the armor. A little reflective light would add to the picture even more, I think.

4 Sep 2004	Georg Marquardt	Loading... Hopefully the angel side will get the better of her. Praetorians were notorious for their assassinations and evilness. I like the armor, it is really fitting and blends astonishingly well with the angel aspects. The bow wasn't really a 'Roman weapon', neither was the small shield, but it works well with the elven look, so it works for me.

8 Sep 2004	Snarling Ice Wolf	Loading... Head tilts, one ear flattened, the other swiveled forward Her left hand(our right) is bothering me.. Perhaps it is just me, but the bow seems not tilted right compared to the angle of the hand.. It looks more as if the top part of the bow should lean more towards the viewer.. Trots off
