SciFi and Fantasy Art: Shahar

While the picture itself may not be particularly 'fantasy,' it does depict a character from a fantasy-game. She's played by a friend of mine, who wanted Shahar to look a bit like Tia Carrere. So that's who I modeled it after. I've always enjoyed Nagel's work, as well, and that's the kind of 'look' I wanted.

I've already gushed about this picture to Star, but I figured it can't hurt to gush again. 12 I love the line of this picture and the simplicity that still conveys the strength inherent in the character. Ink is one of my favorite mediums. Mmm. Good stuff. I WANT MORE PICTURES, STAR!

I agree- the way you did her hair is really unique. I just HAVE to tell you, though... "Shahar" is Arabic for "Month."
