| 15 Feb 2001 | Jessica Klinkenberg | I can't believe no one's commented on this picture Astrid. Aenima is beautiful....the drawing and the woman; she is grace in an picture personified. I especially love what you've done with her hair, it looks almost real! I can't find any faults with this picture, it's obvious you worked hard on it and put more than just pencil to paper when you drew it; keep it up! | |
| 17 Mar 2001 | Tahnee | If I looked like this I wouldn't have to worry about anyone calling me anything but beautiful!!!! *sigh* | |
| 10 Jun 2001 | John Brissette | I like her eyes. She kinda looks like Cher no? I mean in her prime, not after all the surgury. | |
| 7 Dec 2003 | Aenima fan | I dont get this pic. Aenima IS NOT a person! And Maynard IS NOT a LORD! He is a singer with a SON NAMED DIVO!!! Well, anyway it's a nice pic. Astrid Bailleux replies: "Well, have you ever heard of inspiration ? If Aenima is a song, it's also a word and i can name my character with it if I want as well a people call their children leaf or river... And if Maynard is Tool's singer name he's not the only person named like this... So I can do what I want this this name... And what about DEvo (and not Divo)... Isn't it the name of a band ? So Maynard can't call his son Devo because it's a band's name..." | |
| 11 Dec 2003 | Aenima fan | Sorry about the rude comment. I was mad at something els at the time I saw this pic. Tool is my favorite band too!!!I love Maynard's voice!!! I think its really pretty! I like her hair! P.S. Maynard really has a son named Divo. I read it on one of his web sites. | |
| 8 Mar 2004 | Kendra <faery_dust_kendra@hot | I can't believe people are saying this! this pic is beautiful and why not aenima?! I am a very big fan of tool and they happen to be an inspiration to me also! Aenima is actually a name for soul or spirit so whats so crazy about this? tool rock, maynard rocks and this pic is beauiful the girl looks so deep in thought... she is beautiful, like the music of tool of course | |
| 5 May 2004 | Sidra | Um...nice picture, but I would think that Aenima was rather a bad name for her. Have you ever listened to the lyrics of it? Are you familiar with the word enema? Aenima is basically the same concept, just spelled differently. Kendra, it's anima you're thinking of...very different thing. Astrid Bailleux replies: "Well, I know the lyrics, I understand them, I know the word, I know what it means, I know what the anima word means, it's just that ce word Aenima sounds really good, the way I'm using the word is not related with its sens... Maybe it's silly, but it's how inspiration works..." | |
| 7 May 2004 | Sidra | Fair enough then It's like the character called Anathema from "Good Omens". | |
| 29 Jun 2007 | Michael P. Ness | mayhaps just change the spelling of Aenima then...
I mean. there's nothing wrong with a word being a name, but the meaning tied to that name can be a bit of a 'throw the reader for a loop' that is just kinda contradictory to the pleasantness of said character.
like, throw an h in it or something Aehnima....suddenly, its a different story... *shrugs* just a suggestion...
but more importantly here...is the presence of the Toolian influence!
*ROCKS OUT* ahem... forgive me...
greatest band of all time in my personal opinion... *nods* | |
