SciFi and Fantasy Art: Bird in flight

June 2004. I started this picture last year. Something at the time had inspired me, like a personal spiritual experience of sorts. It began as a water color. Tonight I picked it up again using colored pencils and then I did an overhaul with a Paint program.

You know...since you're on a serious, spiritual kick right now...I have to say that when I look at this...I think of someone who feels that they are going round and round in life...but not giving up...they're slowly moving upwards and will eventually fly free of their circles...especially since your flight starts in the midst of the blackness at the bottom of the pic. Lovely symbolism in this piece! Audrey S. Totire replies: "Who said I was SERIOUS!? LOL But that is a pretty good interpretation of this. I'll take that! ---Thanks again!"
