| 1 May 2004 | Valerie L. Totire | I'll bet my nephew's going to be popular with the girls soon. ;-) Audrey S. Totire replies: "He's already had a few groupies *L*...Fortunately I am still his #1 girl!" | |
| 1 May 2004 | Amandarob | LOL! I like it! The muted colors really add a nice touch and the manipulations look good - they don't look very manipulated at all. Very cute idea! Audrey S. Totire replies: "I have been playing around with Paintshop Pro (newer version that what I have been previously using)...You can download a sample from off the web and try it out for 60 days. --Thanks!" | |
| 1 May 2004 | Brian L. Husted | Nice job Audrey. I like that it isn't a full color photo, the subdued tones really makes the background buildings blend with the fantasy theme. It looks like he could be in Rohan or something. Audrey S. Totire replies: "Thanks for the comment!...I'll give some of teh credit to my daughter who took the black and white photo for her photography class." | |
| 1 May 2004 | Wendy Bittnerová | Hey Audrey! You did a nice job blending between the additions and the actual photo...it looks great! And yes, he's just as cute a Legolas! *grins* Audrey S. Totire replies: "I'll mention it now, my main qualm about this pic is that when I scrolled the picture corner I moved the sun spot over. Oh, well...I was just playing with it....See the shirt he is wearing? It used to be a t-shirt with an amusement park logo on the front. Thanks!" | |
| 3 May 2004 | Anonymous | Hey you seem to be really talented and the picture looks like a real elf.. plus he's hot so it makes it all the better! Audrey S. Totire replies: "Easy girl! *LOL*...Thanks" | |
| 3 May 2004 | Krystal Pesta | Very artistic Audrey I like what you did with it. Its very cool you are very talented! Audrey S. Totire replies: "Thanks Krystal!--I recall you being very creative too back in the days when I babysat you. You were VERY neat with coloring. I bet you are a very creative chick now!" | |
| 4 May 2004 | Erica Wo | I like those ears alot. The muted colors gives this picture a nice antiqued feel. Your poor son...does he know all us moms are "awww"ing over his picture? Audrey S. Totire replies: "*L*---I think he's been blushing over this whole ordeal. I hope I don't give him a complex or something!" | |
| 14 May 2004 | Yusuf Emes | I think this is a great work Audrey S. Totire replies: "Thanks!--You have a great gallery too!" | |
| 24 Jun 2004 | Erin ´EireWolf´ Metcalf | I honestly don't really like the sun spot... but the other effects are REALLY cool! To me, it looks like an antique photograph. And he does make a very cute elf... the ear was done very well. Audrey S. Totire replies: "I kind of agree....When I placed the sunspot (I was playing with the program tools for the first time)the spot was actually pushed to the further corner of the picture, then I made the page curl and that moved the sun spot over. Thanks for the comment!" | |
| 25 May 2006 | Barbara J. Wickham | You really gave this the wonderful look of an old photo. I wouldn't worry about the sunspot so much because it can be excused as a corrosion spot that sometimes appears on old photos.
Kudos to your son and daughter for the picture. She really manged to capture him with a very elvish aloofness. I know it wasn't intentional on her part but it sure set the stage nicely for you. | |
