SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Hakkamuffin

July, 04. Well. I was trying to draw an adorable little bunny rabbit, but then I put my glasses on and saw that I had drawn a Hakkamuffin instead. It's okay because the Hakkas like to pretend to be adorable little bunny rabbits by wearing the pelts of them. I kind of feel sorry for Hakkamuffins. Life is not easy for any scavanging little beasts but there is little you can do to be nice to them as they might just bite your hand off and eat it.

I just can't believe the amazing details in your little "sketches"...you have so much talent!!! *hugs*

:-) Audrey S. Totire replies: "You know, the two most important art supplies I own is a lamp and a pencil sharpener! (okay, my glasses too!) But for any kind of pencil drawings a sharpener is so important. Thank you Wendy!--You Rock!"

:-) Audrey S. Totire replies: "*tosses you a spare prosthetic hand* *S*"

YABBA-DAPPA-DOOOOOOOH !!! First post *O* ... promise not to dance - since I can't really -o*
Could you pleeease NOT wear your glasses more often !!! I mean; if you see such wonderful critters and can draw them for us without the specs then why wear them *O*
*moves forward to hug the adorable ugly Hakkamuffin but remembers the dire warning just in time and refrains from doing so*

:-) Audrey S. Totire replies: "*L*---I don't mind --you can dance, I like dancing so I might join in! Maybe next time I will just draw with my eyes shut! Thanks for making a great first comment!"

Oh wow, the detail! This is amazing - the shading is perfect, especially on it's wrinkly little face and the teeth.

I can't even begin to tell you the things I love about this picture - it's just so adorable - especially it's Jabba the Hutt nose!

Another flamed goblin with worm in his nose!
How cruel! >8-)

:-) Audrey S. Totire replies: "A worm? Oh that was a booger but I like that you thought it was a worm. *Evil grin*--I think gross things are fun to draw. It's a nice way to make a portrait of certain stupid people you meet in this lifetime."

To be nice to them you could give them your hand to bite off and eat...

Aw shucks. He got the last drumstick.

Very endearing little fella. How did you come up with the name? It's very memorable and suits this critter to a tee. *lol*

:-) Audrey S. Totire replies: "(Since EW hasn't sent me notice of comments I kind of find your comments sporadically!--That's why i am kind of answering them here and there!) I'll just say that my daughter helped me with that name. It reminded her of somebody. 2"
