| 31 May 2005 | Wendy Bittnerová | Awww...he's sooo cute! I want to hug him! Your sculptures are getting better all the time! *smiles* | |
| 13 Jan 2006 | Marina "MashPotato" Siu-Chong | Sometimes I feel like that... and I think my expression looks just like his! ^_^ This is really adorable, and the face has so much character... it looks like he's suffering from a cold, as well as S.A.D. ^_^. What is he made of? On my monitor it's difficult to make out the fine textures, but it looks a little like clay. Great stuff! Audrey S. Totire replies: "He's a polymer clay creation and he's one year old this month (Happy birthday Melville!) I'm still experimenting with polymer clay. I find when doing something like this that it is good to build some kind of texture so he looks like he has scales (check out Barbara (Cynthtor Dreamchaser) Fostor's Elfwood site. Now she's a polymer artist!) Thanks for stopping by!" | |
| 22 Jan 2006 | Vilhelmina Ullemar Lönnbom | I feel like that sometimes as well... Like right now, for instance. o_o; Winter, please, go away. oo Ah... Anyway... Poor Melville. I feel sorry for him. Such an adorable sculpture, though! ^^ xD I can't sculpt anything more advanced than odd clumps of clay which I call faces (and even those keep falling apart), so I admire your patience. Audrey S. Totire replies: "This one dragon I am considering selling on ebay. I've made three of them and he's the most solid. The other two---one fell and broke and the other occasionally his claws need to be reglued back on, but I've had no problems with Melville. I bet he would be happier if I knitted him a scarf and a hat, perhaps....*S* Thanks for your comment! (BTW I love your name, I'm having fun saying it!)" | |
| 8 Feb 2007 | Brian L. Husted | Awww...what a sweet little guy, you did a great job on him. You just can't resist the instinct to give him a hug, some warm cocoa, and try and cheer the sad little guy up. Well, he may be cold and miserable, but at least he gets to enjoy the snow. Out here in Washington the winters are even more depressing, all we get is rain, rain, rain. | |
