| 1 Apr 2004 | Wendy Bittnerová | Audrey this is really wonderful, I love the way she is wiping her mouth with her hand and the way you have taken a rhyme that usually shows women as weak and timid and turned it into one where the woman is empowered. As for a new ending to the rhyme...how can anyone top your "spider souffle" idea! *LOL* Priceless! Audrey S. Totire replies: "*S*---Thanks for the great comment! I am glad you could tell that she was wiping her mouth. I wanted her to have that uncouth barbarian look about her, but as far as the outcome goes, she could have been a meal for the spider too. I just thought that eating spider sounded more appetizing than curds and whey!! (Blech!)" | |
| 2 Apr 2004 | Margaret R. Taylor | Jeez... I can't think of anything to top "spider souffle" either. That's quite an interesting variation on Little Miss Muffet. But I was wondering - What's holding her sword up? Audrey S. Totire replies: "The sword? I would imagine a holster slung across her back...Thought it would be a cool thing if she could reach with her right hand across and over her shoulder to grab it to defend herself. I was trying to use up the available space in the picture to place important elements and get her facial expression ...Anyway, what do I know about carrying such items? I know about carrying things like a purse, a cell phone, some books maybe and a cup of coffee....That's my usual arsenal!" | |
| 15 Jun 2004 | Sol | I liked the way this picture turned out. It was well done!!! Audrey S. Totire replies: "I guess for this one I should lend you my graditude for making some of the suggestions to make it workable!" | |
| 28 Jun 2004 | Rane A. Henry | Yay! Battle action Little Miss Muffet. I really like the idea. And the spider in the back ish pretty cool too.^^ Audrey S. Totire replies: "*S*--Little Miss Muffet grows up to be Big bad Sword swingin'Muffet after overcoming her aracnaphobia. Thanks!" | |
| 2 Oct 2004 | Evil_Raichu lil_raichu@hot...com> | *ahem* little miss muffet sat on a tuffet, eating her curds and whey.. along came a spider, it sat down beside her... and she ate that too.... *bows and runs away* Really kewl!! ^_^ I like miss muffet, she's kewl!! Audrey S. Totire replies: "*LOL*---*Snapping fingers at your powerful poetic verse!* Thanks--You made my day!" | |
| 1 Dec 2004 | Andrew P. Morris | Little miss muffet sat on a tuffet, Eating her curds and whey... Along came a spider, it sat down beside her, And with her sword she made spider fillet... Nice pencil work. Audrey S. Totire replies: "Hmmm, fillet of spider. Not only is the good with the sword but she's one heck of a chef!" | |
| 24 May 2005 | Charlie | Hey hey dude! Just stumbled across this awesome picture! Hehe, the consequences had me laughing for a while! However, and this is the part I hate most, is the spider quite far away? or is it on her shoulder? The reason for this is that the shadow suggests that it's far away but the leg on the left hand side looks like its touching her shoulder. Meh I don't know lol. *Thinks back to spider-slime covered Miss Muffet as she takes a spoon to the lovely opened abdomen of the spider!* | |
| 24 Dec 2005 | Psycho | Look out!! There is a spider behind you!!! Yeah this one is good, ya're good artist! Audrey S. Totire replies: "Thank you! Who's afraid of spiders? It's those telemarketers you have to look out for...." | |
