| 25 May 2005 | Ms. Grammar | Ahhhh, musn't forget: ***first comment ghetto waltz**** This is gorgeous. Your work conveys a sober maturity; it's full of character and while subtle, packs a visual and emotional wallop.. Great luck in your artistic journey! Audrey S. Totire replies: "*chuckles* Thanks and you will have to teach me the ghetto waltz!" | |
| 3 Jul 2005 | Wendy Bittnerová | Hi Audrey! This series of character portraits you've done...has really impressed me. You have sooo much talent, these portraits are so detailed...you bring the characters to life. Beautiful work! *smiles* Audrey S. Totire replies: "Thank you- thank you- Thank you!!! You always say the nicest things. " | |
| 13 Jan 2006 | Marina "MashPotato" Siu-Chong | I love the pencil lines and subtle shading of this. This portrait also looks so natural--it's not just a face of a young person with wrinkles--it contains the facial shape changes that occur as one gets older. The only possible crit I can say is that the eyes may be a bit far apart, but that may very well have been intended since she's not human. A wonderful piece ^_^ Audrey S. Totire replies: "I'm not happy with the eyes either. I have found out that often when I do a drawing on on a 2-d surface and scan it to the computer, my "eyeball" mistakes really stand out. When I look at the eyes I kind of think of someone with very elfy celtic look about them. Thank you for the comment!" | |
