....She says. 'I got me a MAN!' So here is the mermaid rescuing the drowning sailor, just because my gallery needs a mermaid too and doesn't have one. Nov. 4, 01

I get first comment on this...Discussing proportions, yes I know I --I have the mermaid's belly thrown out, the breasts don't line up with the rib cage. Funny how I DON't see these things until later!

*L*--Funny how i am commenting on my own work--I've uploaded a repaired version but I am still not happy with this as far as tummy proportions go. I am coloring the origional sketch in.

I think she's beautiful. Who cares if it's off, as long as it looks good? I love her pose and hair, very pre-raphaelite. ^_^

I really didn't notice the proportions were off until I read your discription/comments.... I think that the color version will be just as wonderfully done as this is either way! Please let me know when you've posted it.

Gah! I no understand this 'pre-raphealite' thing of which so many people I've run into speak, I may need to look into this...
I think mister sailors foot looks a smite strange, being as twisted as it is, but I deeply enjoy how dimensional the charectors look, they aint flat! Woo!

I don't see anything wrong with it.
