| 28 May 2003 | Dianne C. Cuddy | That's a cool story, and I like the pic, too. I played a swanmay once, one of a sisterhood who could transform into swans at will- a power granted by a special token. I always wished she could have had wings on her human form! Audrey S. Totire replies: "thank you!...that sounds like an interesting storyline (with the swanmay). These characters don't really deal in the realm of magic. They are mortals. I have created a society for my winged people with their own set of rules governed by their religious beliefs and superstitions." | |

| 25 May 2004 | Steve (Greybird) Reed | A story is told here by their stance and visible attitudes, as is evident in many of your works. Not a minimal gift, milady. Even without your cogent descriptions, one can envision how these characters react to each other. And Liam should be more attentive to a beauty such as this one! {grin} You mentioned above that you had broader outlines of a society for these winged folk. Would you put some of it on line? Or, at least, give us some excerpts or hints about it? And do you have any depictions of others as exquisite as Thyrra? Audrey S. Totire replies: "Ah...I see you are a writer. To tell you the truth I wish I could write better. I love many forms of expression. This story was involved, but it formed little by little through role play scenerios. Like on my island I created I developed an almost utopic atmoshere. Women tend to be more aggressive and the men more laid back. I ventured out to an island beyond Serrilia, beyond the volcano was an island where other winged peoples were. Their women's wings were plucked and they were all male chauvenists basically. The two cultures clashed. The volcano eruptions were believed to be judgement for imbalance in cultures. The fun part was explaining the sexual natures of these people and how Liam dealt with it....My partner and I have discussed writing these things down but it would take some serious effort to do it.--Thanks" | |
