SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lyosha - Sweet Dreams

This was one of my Gerbils. Her Name is Lyosha, and I loved giving her Names like 'Quickey', because she's so fast and crazy. But.. at the moment she isn't very nice to the others.. She bites the other Mouses when they're too near. It's a great pity. I've given her away to a good friend of the family and I hope she likes it there.. Missing you, Quickey!

That is so cute! I love the expression on its face. One thing though is the background- I dont think that works as well- what media is it? Watercolour? Sorry if you said it above, I didnt read it.
