SciFi and Fantasy Art: Master Lord Thom

Master Lord Thom of Trebond, youngest master of the Mithran Light in over a century, twin brother of Sir Alanna of Trebond and Olau, from Tamora Pierce's Fantasy series 'The Song of the Lioness'. The red glow surrounding him is his Magical Gift, which has been corrupted by another sorcerer. Yes, he is supposed to look that Tubercular, and the cracked lips/ bloody cuticles are intentional. He is 'Far hotter than any mortal could be and still live', and wasting away from the fever, and other things. For all you rabid Pierce Fans out there (I am one, too), I know it says somewhere that he has a beard, but it just didn't work. There is a passage describing Thom as wearing really bright clothing, but as to the orange pants, your guess is as good as mine. I guess that I just didn't want to put him in jeans.

This has to be THE HOTTEST picture of Thom ever... although, he looks a bit like David Bowie in this one. Anyway, the shading on the face is very nice. I like the colours. Yay!

23 Aurora O'Neill replies: "Thank you. He was FUUUUN to draw....It is interesting that no one ever drawn Thom....like, ever....But yes, thank you."
